"Opportunity Session"

The Opportunity Session is an intensive workshop during which you will be able to 

(1) get information (sorted according to type and deadline) on relevant opportunities(fully funded and partially funded) from around the world;

(2) listen to experiences of NU students who already made use of these opportunities in the past;

(3) learn how to apply and seize these opportunities.

 

The session will feature a number of NU students:

 

• Aiman Adelshiyeva on the Visiting International Student Program at the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison;

• Yerassyl Kalikhan who had a fully funded summer semester at the University of Oslo in Norway;

• Aizhan Kapysheva who went to Turkey and UK for conferences with all costs covered;

• Mariyam Ydyrys who went to Poland and the U.S. with all costs covered; 

• Alibek Salimbetov on the KPMG International Case Competition in Brazil;

• Alibek Nurkesh on the importance of attending forums, conferences, participating at competitions and etc.   

During the session we will be giving general advice and tips on how to search and apply for internships, summer schools and conferences, professional programs and competitions. There is no need to waste your time browsing on thousands of pages and losing hundreds of them. We search for the opportunities, process, and provide them.
